Schapiro, Beth and Associates -- health issues survey -- prepared for Planned Parenthood of Atlanta, January 1991
Scope and Contents of the Series
The Office Files series consists of materials created or assembled by Planned Parenthood staff members in the course of their work, 1982-2006. It documents the day-to-day management and operation of the organization, including such topics as consultants, interns and volunteers, grants the organization sought, and office management. Planned Parenthood worked closely with the Georgia Department of Human Resources to get further funding for medical procedures in the form of a strict contract. This contract only paid for medical procedures and not for abortions as a means to birth control nor was funding allowed to be used for lobbying. Series IX, Workshops and Training, includes further information about staff work. Staff manuals, meeting minutes, and reports are filed in Series I, Sub-series B.
