Materials separated from correspondence and family newsletters

The Alpha May Bond papers, 2007-2014, consist of Bond's family newsletters, a draft manuscript, and other correspondence. The collection includes Bond's correspondence to his former student Franklin Abbott. Bond also wrote family newsletters that he compiled to send to his close family and friends, multiple times a month. The newsletters were sometimes handwritten notes, or compilations of news articles about Vermont or the New England area. Bond would also sometimes include reproduced photographs of family members in the newsletters. Bond was working on a draft of an autobiography that had three volumes, which most of is included in this collection. The volumes describe Bond's sociological research, personal accounts about Bond's life, and his genealogical research about his family.
