Scope and Contents of the Series
The Supporting Files series, 1965, 1970-1992, primarily consists of printed material, but also includes correspondence, financial records, and legal documents. The bulk of the printed material consists of reference material about capital punishment and the prison system; jury selection, the appeal process, and other aspects of legal practice; the legal profession; and social issues. Some files contain entire issues of periodicals or newsletters, and others contain clippings, reports, statistical information, and forms. Newspaper and magazine articles featuring Farmer or documenting Team Defense Project activities also make up part of the series. A small portion of the series relates to office management and technology. Series IV, Team Defense Project, also contains clippings and articles about Team Defense, reference material, and office management files
