The Conferences series contains records related to seminars and institutes that Millard Farmer taught, as well as Team Defense Project workshops and speaking engagements by other Team Defense Project attorneys, including Andrea Young, 1975-1985, 1992-1993. Specific training topics include defending death penalty cases, jury selection, client portrayal, and the appeal process. Sponsoring organizations include the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for Criminal Defense (and its predecessor, the National College of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Public Defenders), the National Legal Aid and Defender Association, and numerous others.
