Scope and Contents of the Series
Series III, Gay Community, 1978-2014, documents Abbott's extensive activities within the Atlanta, Southeastern, United States, and world gay communities. Of particular note are materials relating to Abbott's participation with the Radical Faeries and Gay Spirit Visions. Materials relate to organizations, programs, gatherings, and workshops designed for the LGBTQ community. The series includes a number of folders dealing with Atlanta artist and Abbott's friend, Raven Wolfdancer. Related information may be in Series V, Events, and Series VII, Separated Materials.
