Letters, briefs, and notes describe fourteen cases handled by arbitrator Crane, 1970-1973. Most cases concern sick leave (benefits), suspension (scheduling of holidays, travel time, seniority rights), and dismissal. Documents in each file illuminate company and union positions and the arbitrator's opinion. Unions involved include the Pressmen; Communications Workers; Teamsters; United Textile Workers; United Steel Workers; American Federation of Government Employees; Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union; General Teamsters; International Leathergoods, Plastics and Novelty Workers Union; and International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
