Conference -- Spring Retreat, April 8-10, 2005

The Conference and Planning Materials series documents conferences held by Gay Spirit Visions, 1978-1981, 1990-2008, with outreach materials, conference brochures, workshops, itineraries, lists of participants and notes. The group holds two conferences a year, one in the spring and the other in the fall with an event during the winter called "Winter Meditation," most of which are documented in the series. Folders entitled "conference" consist of the event's brochures, flyers, agenda lists, programs and activities. Folders entitled "planning materials" consist of the correspondence between Planning Committee members surrounding the event such as program ideas, and rough drafts of possible activities. The Planners Retreats, consist of documents between the Gay Spirit Vision Elders and the Planners regarding the their responsibilities in an informal bylaw document, committing themselves to the GSV mission in the working capacity they agreed to for the conference.
