Scope and Contents of the Series
The Carter Administration Series (1945-2000) consists of three subseries. The President's Advisory Committee on Women Subseries A, contain materials that describe her experience heading the Women’s Division of the Democratic National Committee (1976-1980), the Democratic Party Subseries B, illustrates her time working as an educator and as a mentor to upcoming Democratic women delegates. The Carter Presidency Subseries C, documents her participation in the Carter Presidential Campaign (1970-1976).
