The Valerie Beynon Papers, 1990-2008, contain newsletters and other printed materials, financial records, correspondence, subject files, and computer disks. The first three series relate to her activity with the National Organization for Women (NOW) and reflect the structure of the organization: NOW (the national body), 1990-2008; Georgia's state chapter of NOW, 1993-2009; and Southwest Georgia NOW, 1993-2009. A fourth series, containing correspondence and printed material, documents Beynon's involvement with Georgia chapter of the American Association of University Women in 1996. The fifth series consists of computer disks, 1999-2000, undated.
