Clippings, conferences, and publications, 1976-1989

The collection consists of subject files, photographs, and artifacts collected by Betty Grant pertaining to the activities of the Georgia National Organization for Women (NOW), 1976-1991. The collection includes materials which document key Georgia NOW activities including state conferences, minutes, legislative activities and events such as the April 9, 1989 March for Women's Equality and Women's Lives, public relations material, articles, and clippings. Other items include photographs and artifacts consisting of a name badge, press passes, a banner, and ink stamps.
