Scope and Contents of the Collection
From the Collection:
Collection includes an agreement (1944) between the Rodgers Hosiery Company, Inc. (Athens, Ga.) and the American Federation of Hosiery Workers (AFHW). The collection also includes copies of newspaper articles discussing the AFHW 1953 strike against Humboldt Hosiery Mills (Humboldt, Tenn.) and the AFHW lockout at the Wayne Plant (Branch 176 in Athens, Ga.). Material is in photocopied form.
