Demo legislators -- contacts and responses, 1989

Newspaper clippings make up much of the David Worley papers. Almost all of the collection is from the 1988 and 1990 Congressional races. The Worley campaign staff collected extensive information on Gingrich, so newspaper clippings appear throughout the files, some dating to the congressman's early career. Gingrich campaign letters to his supporters also appear throughout the collection. Also included is information on Worley's campaign platforms, and correspondence with supporters and other Democratic party officials, some of them national figures like Pat Schroeder. Some rough drafts of speeches and schedules also appear in the collection, as does campaign material from both the Worley and Gingrich operations. The titles are precisely as they appeared, and much of the collection is unsorted.
