Scope and Contents of the Records
From the Collection:
The records of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union, Tennessee Joint Board (Knoxville, Tenn.), 1940s-1970s, contain correspondence, grievances, financial records, wage agreements, death benefit data, and audits. The bulk of the records reflect the operations of the ACTWU Locals 185, 2202, and 2094 as well as the operations of The American Federation of Hosiery Workers and TWUA.
