Scope and Contents of the Subseries
Correspondence, minutes and agendas, financial information, and reports and other printed material comprise the GARAL Political Action Committee, 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4) subseries. The series documents the operations of the political action committee (GARAL-PAC), a non-tax exempt organization that engaged in political campaigns, as well as the distinct non-profit entities, the Education Foundation (a 501(c)(3), contributions to which were tax deductable) and the primary organization (a 501(3)(4), which engaged in lobbying and contributions to which were not deductable).
