Scope and Contents of the Series

From the Series:

Series I: the Administrative Records, 1980-2009, includes office files and administrative materials relating to the management, organization, and leadership of the Atlanta Feminist Women's Chorus. Financial materials include non-profit incorporation documents, fundraising materials, performance contracts, grant applications, and year-to-year financial records. In addition this series contains other organizational materials including bylaws, meeting minutes, committee documents, and music catalogs. Also in this series are membership records, including membership lists, correspondence, welcome packets, and fundraising items such as the Chorus's cook book, Cooking with the Chorus. Lastly, this series contains materials related to various social causes and events that were important to the Chorus, including the March on Washington for Gay, Lesbian, and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation in 1993, and the Equal Rights Amendment.
