Scope and Contents of the Series
From the Series:
Series IV, Artifacts contains a scrapbook on Local 225's activities during the years 1942-1945. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, articles, correspondence, and other written information. Of particular interest are articles on the training and education of women in the projectionist industry during World War II, when many male projectionists went to war. Also of interest are articles relating to the union's hiring of World War II veterans as they returned home looking for work.
