Scope and Content of the Subseries

Subseries B. Books and Manuals is comprised of handbooks, manuals, and 100th anniversary books from 1993. One anniversary book contains notes of congratulations from various studios, theaters, manufacturers and other unions. The other anniversary book commemorates the history of the IATSE, highlighting major accomplishments of the union throughout its first 100 years. Technical handbooks and manuals focus on the use and upkeep of projectors and other equipment used by projectionists. Also included are catalogs for projectors and other equipment supplies from the late 1970s.
