Scope and Contents of the Subseries
The mission of the Education Department, now the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, is to maintain and improve the level of understanding of workers in a rapidly changing world. Its purpose is to meet the complete range of education needs of IAM members.
Included in this subseries are reports, printed materials, memorandums, and correspondence. There are files relating to adult education, scholarships, vocational education and apprenticeship laws by state. Arrangement is alphabetical.
