Newspaper clippings, 1983

Printed materials contain photographs, newspaper articles and bound materials from 1884-1987, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1967 to 1983. Included are membership cards and dues books.

Also of interest are photographs and newspaper articles about the union's support of victims in the aftermath of Hurricane Camille in 1969, as well as clippings about labor disputes and strike fund formation in 1974. An assortment of publications relating to labor unions, and a few centennial mementos, such as a stamp cancellation and a bumper sticker, complete the series.
