Biography

Dr. Beth Farokhi worked in the field of education for over forty years. She earned her doctorate (Ed.D.) in higher education from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Elementary Education and Health and Physical Education from LaGrange College. She began her career as a teacher in Cobb County, Georgia. After completing her doctorate, Farokhi worked at Georgia State University as an administrator in the College of Education for twenty-four years, coordinating curriculum development for over fifty degree programs.
