Interviewed by Harvey Newman and Andrea Young. Elaine Alexander provides information about her early life and how she came to Atlanta. She discusses how she met with Maynard Jackson, a sanction that occurred at city hall, and her and her husband's move to Atlanta in 1977. Alexander goes over leadership in Atlanta during the 1970s and 1980s, including the Woodruff Foundation in regards to Leadership Atlanta.
