Abstract:

Cathey W. Steinberg was recognized as a leader for consumer, family, and women's rights during her service in the Georgia House of Representatives (1977-1989) and Georgia Senate (1991-1993). Her papers consist of correspondence, newsclippings, legislation, printed materials, reports, speeches, and campaign materials, 1976-1994, that document her public service and political campaigns.

Abstract: John Greer was a Georgia politician. Greer's career in state politics began in 1939 when he became Clerk of the Georgia House of Representatives. Greer served a number of years as State Representative (1945-1954 from rural Lanier county, and 1970-1989 from urban Fulton county) and as State Senator. Abstract:

Nan Orrock has served as a senator and as a representative in Georgia's State Legislature since 1987, and as president of the Women Legislators' Lobby. She has worked to balance budgets; to increase spending on assisting families, education health and child care; and to reduce excessive and wasteful military spending. Her papers include correspondence, printed material, and financial records, that document legislation, political campaigns, and issues, 1969-2010 (bulk 1990-2006).
