Abstract:

Established in 1990, Georgia Labor Management Conference has the mission to enhance productivity and quality at the workplace through cooperation and mutual respect between labor and management. The collection documents the governance of the organization and planning of its annual conferences, 1990s-2000s.

Abstract: The Labor Studies Program was established at Georgia State University in 1978 to serve the training and educational needs of working people and their labor organizations in Georgia. Its records, circa 1983-2013, document the administration of the program; courses, lectures, and seminars held under its auspices, including a class for the AFL-CIO's National Labor College; training held for union locals; and the W. The University Audio-visual/artifacts Collection consists of photographs, sound recordings, audio-visual materials, artifacts and textiles, separated from the Georgia State University Archives and housed together for preservation purposes.
