Consists of correspondence of E.T. Kehrer with staff of Recruitment and Training Program, Inc., the successor organization to the Joint Apprenticeship Program of the Workers' Defense League and A. Philip Randolph Institute. Topics include efforts to recruit minority candidates for jobs in the elevator industry, planning for Recruitment and Training Program conferences in 1974, 1975, and 1976, and a dispute over the political activities of former Joint Apprenticeship Program staff member Patrick Flack.
