Biographical Note

Herman Lodge (1929-2005) served on the Burke County Commission since 1982, and was involved in several landmark voting rights cases during the 1970s and 1980s, including Lodge v. Buxton and Lodge v. Rogers. Anna Lodge was active in the Burke County Improvement Association.
